A morning ritual you can hold: a amethyst roller with a large stone for cheeks and forehead and a small one for around the eyes. Roll from the chin up and out, and from the middle of the forehead outwards, slowly, with a cool stone and a quiet minute. The Greeks named it amethystos, "not drunk", and Pliny tells of cups cut from it in the hope of keeping a clear head. It comes with a black cotton pouch, for travel or as a gift. Every stone is natural, so colour and markings vary.
