The Long Tone: the ritual

One tone that lingers while the flame stands still.

    Light the candle. Sit so that you can see the flame without moving your head.

    Ring the bell once. Listen until you cannot hear it any more.

  3. III

    Do it nine more times. Then light the palo santo and let it end in the lotus holder.
