Set one cone on your backflow burner, light the tip, blow out the flame and watch the smoke run down like water; a cone burns about 40 minutes. Copal is the resin the Maya called pom; it was burned on their altars and still rises from every Day of the Dead ofrenda in Mexico. The decorative box makes a small gift. Only for backflow burners; never leave a lit cone unattended.
