Set it on your altar for a cone, a pinch of herbs or a small offering, and the raised rim keeps the ash together. The overlapping circles were drawn by Leonardo da Vinci, among others; the name Flower of Life is modern and comes from New Age writing of the late 20th century. Copper gets hot under glowing incense, so stand the plate on a heat-resistant surface.
